THE EGYPTIAN CHALICES by Wedgwood England - Limited Edition of 500 pairs only, from 1972. This is Set Number 257, with the numbers etched into the undersides of each bowl. A stunning Limited Edition boxed pair of Topaz glass chalices with Black & Terracotta Jasper cameos of King Tutankhamun & Queen Ankhesenamun produced by Wedgwood to celebrate the Tutankhamun Exhibition at the British Museum in London in 1972. They stand 5 1/2" tall. The top diameter of each is 3 1/4" and the base diameter is 3". The jasper cameos are 3/4" in diameter. The chalices are in excellent displayed only condition, in the original satin-lined presentation box.
